KRAIT MK2 X HP
The Krait MK2 X HP is the flagship of the MK2 generation, built to send heavy slugs as far as an airgun reasonably can. Its 700mm non-choked barrel runs the full length of a 940mm chassis — the largest rifle in the AirMaks catalog at 3.82kg — and draws from a 700cc carbon fiber tank at 300 bar. What sets the MK2 platform apart is the air delivery: a 115cc plenum puts a far larger charge behind every shot, an anti-bounce hammer keeps that charge from being wasted at high operating pressures, and velocity tunes without tools via the hammer-spring wheel. The external pressure regulator holds consistency across the fill, and the magazine's magnetic cover comes off quickly for fast reloads. Chambered in .22, .25, and .30. Krait MK2 X HP in action
In 2026, AirMaks arms introduced the Krait MK2 — a ground-up rework of the platform that made the original Krait one of the most respected bullpup PCPs on the market. At the heart of the update is a completely redesigned air system: a new self-developed regulator and valve block, paired with a significantly enlarged plenum, deliver more consistent shot-to-shot performance and a noticeably higher shot count per fill.
Unlike earlier Krait generations, the MK2's regulator can now be adjusted on the fly — up or down — without draining the rifle first, and a tool-less hammer spring wheel at the rear of the stock lets shooters fine-tune velocity in seconds. A new anti-bounce hammer system keeps the action stable even at higher operating pressures, while the redesigned magazine now accepts longer, heavier slugs for extended-range shooting.
Combined with a more ergonomic ambidextrous grip and a reversible side-lever action, the Krait MK2 keeps everything shooters loved about the original — and rebuilds it for serious long-range performance.
