The Krait MK2 X HP is the flagship of the MK2 generation, built to send heavy slugs as far as an airgun reasonably can. Its 700mm non-choked barrel runs the full length of a 940mm chassis — the largest rifle in the AirMaks catalog at 3.82kg — and draws from a 700cc carbon fiber tank at 300 bar. What sets the MK2 platform apart is the air delivery: a 115cc plenum puts a far larger charge behind every shot, an anti-bounce hammer keeps that charge from being wasted at high operating pressures, and velocity tunes without tools via the hammer-spring wheel.
