“Before I purchased the Krait, I had three rifles in the running. The FX M4 Sniper in .30 Cal, the Ghost HP in .30, and the Krait. The three top tier choices.
The FX has 30+ O-rings and although I do understand the liner appeal per projectile chosen. You have to index a new gun if the liner moves, or replace the liner system with a real CHF barrel. Too many leak points for my liking. It seems the people the happiest with them have replaced half of the original gun. Lol
The Ghost was appealing since I have the SniperXR. But the fact that they choked a .30 high power LW CHF rifle just neutered it in a sense. You again have to buy a Slug barrel to accurately shoot slugs.
The Krait, has a renowned CZ CHF match grade barrel…un-chocked, ready to shoot pellets and slugs right out of the box. The construction looked more robust to me, and with a 300 Bar fill, it shows you know your guns are built tough to take the higher pressures. The 115cc plenum makes the others look tame in comparison. So, the Krait was the obvious choice for me.
I just wanted you to know the …”Why” of my purchase. I as a service tech saw 1-7 commercial and industrial customers a day for 44-years. I have put my hands on and fixed more equipment than most can imagine. When I pick up a well-built tool, I can tell”
